3" Teardrop Light Red Reflective Lens Chrome Base
Overview
This red LED teardrop marker and clearance light is a compact surface-mount lighting option for applications where the listed dimensions, wire pass-through, and mounting style match. The teardrop body, chrome base, and red reflective lens give it a clean finished look for saddle bags, fenders, flares, running boards, and similar marker or accent-light locations.
R&P Service Insight
Small marker lights are easy to overlook until one is missing, dim, damaged, or no longer matching the rest of the vehicle. This style is simple to position, but the surface and wire passage need to be checked before final mounting.
- Light Output: Very bright 3-diode LED design.
- Mounting Prep: Uses 3M double-sided foam tape for easy mounting.
- Wire Passage: Requires a 1/2" hole for wire passage.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Compatibility: Universal-style marker light for applications where the 3" long x 1-3/8" wide x 5/8" tall body and 1/2" wire pass-through hole match the mounting location.
Vehicle / System Fit: Marker and clearance light applications including saddle bags, fenders, flares, running boards, and similar custom lighting locations.
Installation Notes: Confirm the mounting surface is clean, flat enough for foam-tape contact, and properly located for the wire pass-through before installation.
Performance Insight: The red reflective lens and 3-diode LED layout create a sharp marker-light appearance while keeping the light body compact.
Brand & Fitment Note
Selling Brand: R&P Carriages
Application Reference: This listing describes a universal-style marker / clearance light and does not claim vehicle-specific OEM fitment.
What This Means: This listing is for an R&P Carriages red LED teardrop marker light, not a guaranteed OEM-branded item.
Before Ordering: Verify dimensions, mounting surface, wire pass-through hole size, wiring needs, and application before installation.
R&P Repair Insight
For best results, test-fit the light before drilling or final placement. The foam tape needs a clean, suitable mounting surface, and the wire passage should be positioned so the wiring does not bind, pinch, or interfere with the back side of the panel.
- Size Check: Measures 3" long, 1-3/8" wide, and 5/8" tall.
- Hole Check: Needs a 1/2" hole for wire passage.
- Surface Check: Clean and dry the mounting area before applying the foam tape.
