Bearing protectors maintain slight positive grease pressure inside the hub to help prevent water intrusion when hot hubs are submerged during boat launching. The internal spring design limits pressure to approximately 3 PSI to help reduce risk of rear seal damage.
Before installation, inspect bearings and grease seals. Fill hub with a quality marine-grade trailer grease and confirm hub bore diameter before ordering.
