This is one of the toughest locks available. Round "coke machine" type key, ONE INCH THICK base and a 5/8" thick bar across the top I have cut my share of locks off, (I am a trailer dealer, and have lost a few keys) and let me tell you, this one is gonna take some work to get off with out a key!
This truly universal coupler lock fits most existing straight tongue and A-frame couplers, sized 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16". Strong construction includes a die-cast aluminum body, chrome plated 5/8" hardened steel shackle and pick resistant lock cylinder. This is the same size as the pin on your receiver hitch, only super hardened! Show me a pair of bolt cutters that will even slice through the hitch pin on your truck!
