U-Bolt Tie Plate – 12K & 15K Axles – 3/4" Holes – 3" Springs – 5" Tube
Part Number: 012-046-00
This U-bolt tie plate is designed for heavy-duty trailer suspension systems using 12K and 15K axles. It secures the axle tube to a 3" wide leaf spring pack using 3/4" U-bolts and is commonly used with 5" axle tubes. One plate per order unless otherwise specified.
R&P Knowledge Hub
A U-bolt tie plate clamps the axle tube to the leaf spring pack using heavy-duty U-bolts and distributes load evenly across the spring assembly. Proper hole spacing, spring width compatibility, and axle tube diameter are critical for maintaining alignment and load integrity.
Always verify spring width (3"), axle tube diameter (5"), and U-bolt diameter (3/4") before ordering replacement components.
