UBK-HDSS-US U-Bolt Kit – Dexter HDSS Suspension – 12K–16K Axles
Includes 4× 011-94-00 U-Bolts | 8× 006-113-00 Nuts | 2× 012-068-01 Cast Tie Plates
UBK-HDSS-US is a complete suspension hardware kit designed for Dexter HDSS heavy-duty suspension systems used on 12,000 lb to 16,000 lb trailer axles. This kit includes matched U-bolts, lock nuts, and cast bottom tie plates required to properly clamp the axle to the spring assembly.
IMPORTANT – CONFIGURATION REQUIREMENT
This kit is designed for suspension setups where the axle tube sits on top of the leaf springs. The included cast bottom tie plates (012-068-01) are engineered for that configuration only.
It will NOT fit setups where the springs sit on top of the axle tube.

In Dexter HDSS systems, U-bolts wrap over the axle tube and clamp it
to the leaf spring pack. The cast bottom tie plate distributes clamping
force evenly across the spring pack and maintains axle alignment.
U-bolts should not be reused after removal, as previously torqued hardware may not maintain proper clamping force. Always verify axle rating, tube diameter (5" round), and suspension geometry before installation.
