Optronics MCL32AB amber LED clearance and side marker light.
This compact 4" × 2" rectangular light combines three LEDs, an amber reflex lens, and a white surface-mount housing. The integrated reflex reflector eliminates the need for a separate reflector where this configuration satisfies the applicable lighting requirements.
Its two-wire construction supplies dedicated power and ground leads, making it suitable for compatible mounting surfaces without relying on the mounting screws for electrical grounding.

What Does a Reflex Lens Actually Do?
A marker light and a reflector perform different functions.
The light produces its own illumination when powered, while a reflex reflector returns light from an external source, such as another vehicle's headlights.
The MCL32AB incorporates a reflex reflector directly into its amber lens. That combines two useful visibility functions into one compact component.
Its three-LED design also eliminates the replaceable incandescent bulb found in older marker lights, while retaining a snap-on lens that can be replaced separately if the appropriate replacement component is available.

Compare these measurements to your existing lamp before ordering.
Because this is a two-wire light, the grounding connection is made through the dedicated white lead. You do not need to depend on a mounting screw making electrical contact with the trailer frame.

Before You Replace the Light, Check the Wiring.
An intermittent marker light isn't always a bad lamp. Corroded connectors, a broken ground wire, or moisture in a splice can produce the same symptoms.
Check the existing circuit, clean the mounting surface, and use suitable weather-resistant electrical connections. Confirm lamp operation after installation and inspect the new wiring for interference with moving or sharp components.
