How to choose the right GEN-Y setup

  1. Receiver size: Match the receiver (e.g., 2", 2-1/2") on your tow vehicle.
  2. Required capacity: Know your trailer’s loaded weight and tongue weight; never exceed the lowest rated component in your system.
  3. Drop / rise range: Level towing protects tires, brakes, and bearings. Choose enough adjustment to keep the trailer level.
  4. Coupler / ball needs: Standard ball sizes, adjustable heads, lunette, or pintle—pick what your trailer demands.
  5. Hardware & pins: Use the correct diameter and usable length for secure, rattle-free connections.

Fitment tip: Verify hitch class, receiver size, and the required pin diameter before ordering.

Safety tip: Your system is only as strong as its weakest rated part. Always follow the lowest rating.
